lingua franca store flagship interior design
Cashmere, protest, and a little bit of mischief.
The Lingua Franca flagship in Greenwich Village is more than a store—it’s a manifesto in soft knitwear. The brief was to create a space that felt elevated but never exclusive, playful but never chaotic. We leaned into the brand’s ethos: thoughtful, handmade, and never without a sense of humour.
The palette is soft and warm, with natural textures, vintage furniture, and custom detailing throughout. We balanced structure with softness—open shelving, relaxed displays, and subtle nods to protest culture layered among the cashmere.
It’s a shop, yes. But also a space for conversation, collaboration, and the occasional embroidery party. Retail, but with something to say.
