lingua franca uptown store interior design

Softly surreal, endlessly layered.

At Lingua Franca Uptown, artist Pauline Rossy de Sales hand illustrated a series of hand-painted murals that unfold like quiet conversations—botanical motifs, whimsical figures, and dreamlike vignettes that wrap gently around the architecture. They don’t shout. They linger.

Set against a backdrop of vintage furniture and natural materials, the murals add a subtle sense of magic—connecting the ground floor retail space to the custom embroidery workshop upstairs, where one-of-a-kind pieces are stitched to order.
